Influenza Vaccination

Patients who are aged 65 years and over together with patients who are under 65 years who are in an ‘At Risk’ group are entitled to a free Flu Vaccine.  Anyone suffering from Asthma, a Chronic Respiratory Disease (Cystic fibrosis, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or emphysema),Chronic Heart Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, Chronic Neurological Disease, Chronic Liver Disease, Diabetes, Obesity, are pregnant or are a Carer will be entitled to a free flu vaccination at the surgery.  The Practice will be holding an open surgery on Saturday 14th October 2017 between 8.30am and 12.00pm.  After this date appointments will be available during normal surgery hours please contact the surgery for an appointment. If you think you should be entitled to a Flu vaccine please contact reception on 0121 459 9117 and ask the receptionist.  Appointments  will also be available  for children aged 2-3 years entitled to the nasal flu and children up to the age of 17 eligible for the nasal flu who are in an at risk group. We shall be contacting parents, but if your child is eligible please contact us for an appointment.

We are currently using our text message system to alerts all patients who are eligible for the flu vaccine. It is therefore important to ensure we have an up to date mobile number.
