Telephone Consultation

If you consider your condition does not warrant an appointment but you would like medical advice you may ring the surgery and request a telephone consultation from a doctor.  The receptionist will ask for your name, address, contact telephone number and may ask you to confirm your date of birth.  You will also be asked to provide a brief description of the reason for the telephone consultation request.  If you make the request before midday you will receive a call back the same day, if your request is made after midday you will be contacted the next working day.  The practice cannot guarantee a particular doctor will ring back although a patient’s preference will be noted and we will accommodate this whenever possible.

Please ensure that if you have requested a telephone call from a doctor you will be available to take the call when the doctor rings.  We cannot guarantee a time when the doctor will call back.
